I resently checked my friendster and was glad to see someone uploaded some pictures of the flood. Yes our house is near the highway but it is elevated. So our house was not floating in waters first and second week of this year.
In Kauswagan Highway, nearest our house, the water from canals and creeks overflowed. Roads look like rivers instead. Pictures below are taken near the highway of one of the oldest subdivision in the city, RER Subdivision. Since it is an old subdivision, the level of the road now higher by several feet.
